Inbound reply templates

Two starting points for when a brand reaches out. Personalize the bracketed parts, then send from your own email — nothing here sends automatically. Reply fast: slow responses are one of the biggest reasons a deal quietly dies.

When someone just asks "what are your rates?"

Quick rate-sheet reply

Hi [Name],

Thanks so much for reaching out — I'd love to explore working with [Brand]!

Here's a quick look at my current rates:
• IG Reel (sponsored, organic): $2,500–$3,500
• Story Set (3–5 frames): $900–$1,500
• Static / Carousel Post: $1,200–$1,800
• Reel + Story Bundle: $3,000–$4,000
• Ongoing Ambassador Partnership: $4,000–$6,000/month

One note: these rates cover organic content on my own channels. If you'd like to run any of it as a paid ad, or repost it on your own channels (whitelisting), that's available as a separate add-on — usually +40% for paid-social usage rights, or +50–100% for whitelisting, depending on scope.

Let me know what you have in mind for deliverables and budget, and I'll put together a proposal!

Best,
Becca
When you already have a brief/budget — and want rights priced separately

Full inquiry reply (rights as a line item)

Hi [Name],

Thank you for the details — this sounds like a great fit!

Based on what you've described ([deliverables, e.g. 1 Reel + 3 Stories]), my rate for that scope is [$X–$Y] for organic posting on my own channels.

If [Brand] would also like to:
• Run this content as a paid ad (usage rights, 90 days) — that's an additional 40% on top of the deliverable rate
• Whitelist it to run ads directly from my handle — that's an additional 50–100%
• Lock category exclusivity for a period — that's an additional 25–50%/month

Happy to send a formal quote once we've locked the deliverables and whether usage rights or whitelisting are part of the scope. Let me know which direction works best for your budget and I'll get it over to you.

Best,
Becca

The habit that matters more than the words: always name a rate, and always keep usage rights / whitelisting as their own line rather than folding them into the base price for free — that's the single biggest lever on deals you're already winning.
